Kanye West Is Named The Gospel Artist Of The Year By Billboard

After taking home 4 Billboard awards in the Gospel category, it should come as no surprise that Kanye West is the Gospel Artist Of The Year. With Kanye running for president in this years election many people forgot about the music he released. Billboard broke down how “Jesus Is King” and “Jesus is Born” projects were staples on the charts throughout the year. Even Yeezy’s Sunday Service Choir was named Top Gospel Group of the year by Billboard.  Kanye also had two songs on the Hot Gospel Songs chart. “Wash Us in the Blood” featuring Travis Scott and “Follow God” both dominated the Billboard’s Gospel chart this year. 

Congratulations Kanye West.
