Gunna and The Weekend both dropped albums on the same day. Many people believed The Weekend would have the number one spot on the billboard. With co-signs from many people in the industry like Timbaland even comparing The Weekend’s album to Thriller. The numbers for DS4EVER and Dawn FM are in, and Gunna has taken the number one spot.
According to Chart Data, “‘DS4EVER’ is Gunna second consecutive #1 album on the Billboard 200. His first number one was ‘WUNNA.'” It was rumored earlier this week that The Weekend had the No. 1 position, but later, the numbers were so close that announcements had to be delayed. In the end, it was reported that Gunna sold 150K total units, while The Weeknd pushed 148K.
